Ginko is the name of the Besançon transport network. It serves all the municipalities in the Grand Besançon Métropole urban community.
It includes 2 tram lines (T1 and T2) and 4 main lines (Lanes numbered L3, L4, L5 and L6) which run every day during the day and evening.
On these routes, services run frequently: every 5 to 12 minutes during the day, depending on the route.

Bus and tram lines T1, T2, L3, L4, L5 and L6 run until around 1am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and until 11.30pm on other nights of the week.
Good to know: there is a connection between all the lines at the République hub ("République" and "Courbet" stops) at the end of the evening.
You can pay by credit card (or your smartphone) by passing it in front of the validator. The journey costs 1,40 € and is valid for 1 hour.

Yes, if you have a Ginko season ticket, such as the 15/25 pass for example, it is valid on Mobigo (TER) trains for journeys within the Grand Besançon Métropole area. All you need is your Ginko Mobilités card (with a valid season ticket loaded on it). There is no need to validate.
Ginko VéloCité offers nearly 200 self-service bikes at 32 stations: 100 standard bikes and 100 electric bikes.
You can hire a bike occasionally for 1 journey (€1), 24 hours (€2) or 72 hours (€4). After that, the first 30 minutes are free with a conventional bike (€1 for an electric bike). Additional ½ hours cost €0.50 each.
You can also subscribe for 1 year. There are three options:
- Le Essential Pass at €24 per year. The first 30 minutes are free on a standard bike and cost €1 on an electric bike. Each additional half-hour is charged at €0.50.

From car parks You can park your bike in complete safety in the covered, enclosed areas: the Ginko VéloParks. There are 16 of them in the Greater Besançon area: see the map. Access costs €1.40 per day. Subscriptions are available for €2 a month or €20 a year. Access is free for year-round Ginko subscribers.
On the busbicycles are prohibited (except folding bikes).
On the tramthey are authorised at off-peak times but not at peak times (except for folding bikes). On weekdays (Monday to Friday), you cannot take your bike between 7am and 9am and between 4.30pm and 6.30pm. It is possible the rest of the day if traffic permits. On the trainsIf you are travelling by train, there is a station assistance service: you will be accompanied to your seat on the train with your luggage and, on arrival, to the station exit.
